  1. Katie Brandon says:

Do you know whereabouts in Leeds UK there are copies available?

  2. Brett Bloom says:

There was a stack at East Street Arts, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

  3. bruce burton says:

Can you tell me where in East St. Louis, IL or St. Louis, MO copies are available? Or how to become a distributer. I work at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and would love to carry it hear.

  4. Brett Bloom says:

We sent copies to the folks at Boots. If you want to get a stack of papers, you can order them through Half Letter Press. We charge 25 cents per paper and then standard USPS shipping rates. We try to keep it super cheap. We don’t have a budget left for free shipping.

I wonder about ART WORK being distributed in Palm Springs(?). La Jolla, by the way, has two “l” s (incorrectly posted on your distribution list) and is not exactly an artist’s colony any more (since about 1975). It’s cache for artists has been usurped by the cost of living there (or most anywhere in San Diego, for that matter). Art in La Jolla tends to be a high priced, commercial affair. Except that from time to time, the Museum of Contemporary Art La Jolla has a cutting edge show. It is a great place to be then; quiet solitude in this fairly dense suburbia. Not that I am bitter about that…

  7. Paula says:

Can we put GERMANY not on the list?
    Warm regards form Berlin…

  8. Brett Bloom says:

    Paula,

I plan on taking some copies to Berlin when I am there next month. Not sure yet where I will leave them. Mabye KW, maybe General Public or NGBK… maybe all places.

    Brett

Personal Economy #1

The only way we have survived and continue to produce our projects is because we rely on multiple methods of financing the projects. We raise money to pay for our printing costs and assorted bills through the aforementioned events, soliciting advertising for display ads, fundraisers, applying for grants and then of course we sell our publications and products.

Often times we barter services between individuals and independent businesses. For example we will trade an ad for silk screening posters. Or we will trade ads to get credit at a store.

About
